For Hailey’s big nine month milestone, the family went to the Dallas Arboretum to capture a great family picture.  As you’ll see, the pictures turned out great!  It was a little warm out there that day, but we had the best glass of lemonade that we’ve ever had. 

This was definitely a busy month. Here are some photos from Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. Hailey also turned 9 months old this month (which is still hard to believe) but those pictures will be in a separate set (so keep checking back soon).

Once again the photos were posted a little late. To make up for it, I’ll post several sets at once!

I always thought that Hailey would skip the crawling phase because she hated being on her tummy! In fact, she was standing and moving back and forth while holding on to the couch before she could crawl. Well, she has now changed her mind (female trait perhaps?) and is now crawling EVERYWHERE and no longer cares about trying to walk. She is always on the go and keeps mom and dad busy just chasing her around the house… who knew babies could crawl so fast.

This is a video that I took when Hailey and Kane were posing for a few pictures. The video was taken with my camera so it’s not the best picture. I also have videos that I’ve taken with my video camera and one of these days I’ll post those, too. Stay tuned.

Okay, maybe they are a little late, but you know the old saying… Better Late Than Never! As you can see from the photos, we went down to Houston during Easter weekend and visited with our good friends, the Dusablons and the Oliphants. Hailey is a little too young to understand anything about Easter, but she really enjoyed playing with the bright colored, plastic eggs! Hopefully next year she can enjoy an Easter egg hunt.

Finally…I’ve posted the first video of Hailey!!! This is from February when she went swimming for the first time (and absolutely loved it). The quality of the video was slightly diminished when it was uploaded but I’ll keep working to see if I can improve it. Anyway, here you go…

It’s hard to believe, but Hailey has already passed the 6 month mark! As you can tell from some of her recent pictures, she’s already eating solid food, ocassionally drinking from a sippy cup, and sitting up by herself. The other big news is that her first tooth just broke through the gums a week ago. (Click on the collage below to see more pics from her 6 month photo shoot).

Ok, so maybe it took a little long to post the February pics, but at least they are finally here! It was definitely a fun month for Hailey. In addition to experiencing her first Valentine’s Day, she also got to go swimming for the first time (and she absolutely LOVED it). Click on the picture below to see more photos.

Well, January was a big month for Hailey!  You’ll notice that she
partied like a rock star on New Year’s Eve in TWO cities.  It’s hard
to control this wild girl these days.  She also got to attend TWO
birthday parties so she was a party animal.  She’s growing like crazy
and has started to eat cereal to help her get extra tall.  Watch
